I stopped by Riverside Seafood & Chicken last weekend after a long drive, and honestly it turned into one of the best casual seafood meals I’ve had in a while. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me like I’d been there before. The place had a relaxed, local vibe with people coming in for takeout and families dining together, which usually tells me the food is worth trying. I ordered the fried catfish with shrimp and a side of seasoned fries, and everything came out fresh and hot. The catfish had a crispy coating without tasting greasy, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked with a really good crunch. What surprised me most was the flavor — you could tell the food was made to order instead of sitting under a heat lamp. The portions were generous too, definitely enough for leftovers. My friend ordered the chicken wings and kept talking about how flavorful they were. We also tried the hush puppies, which were soft inside and had just the right amount of sweetness. Even during the dinner rush, the staff checked on us a couple of times and made sure we had everything we needed. What I liked most about Riverside Seafood & Chicken was that it felt genuine. No fancy presentation, just really solid comfort food served by friendly people who care about their customers. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m craving seafood and wings.

An absolutely incredible dining experience! The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are beyond generous, the dining room is spotless, the prices are unbelievable, and the staff is delightful. I live two hours away and will absolutely be coming back.

WOWW! The food at Riverside was delicious! We happened to spot it when we were passing by to go to our hotel after our cruise and decided to stop by and grab something to eat. I got the shrimp pasta and mozzarella sticks and my husband got wings and shrimp and we were surprised at just how delicious the food was. I also love that the drinks are included because that is something you don't see very often anymore. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean as well. We were even thanked for choosing to eat at Riverside. I highly recommend!

My kids and I come here all the time literally it's our favorite spot our only favorite spot besides one other place actually but I must say their prices is on point their food is so great that'll make you want to smack your mama and your grandma and I'm not lying the girls and everyone that works here oh man they're so nice and professional they're always so great never have a problem with our food and you got to try their boom boom sauce now that'll make you want to smack your daddy just saying it is really truly great go on and go try it you can thank me later

Very good!! When we ordered the food, the staff were very friendly and nice. We asked for the salmon to be a little undercooked to make sure it wasn't tough. They were very good about it and the salmon came out perfectly! The food came out very hot and fresh with amazing flavor and seasoning. 10/10 would eat here again!

The food here was so delicious. The fish and shrimp came out super hot and fresh with minimal wait time. . You get a meal with two sides and a drink. The seasoning was spot on. Kim and Haley were so friendly and personable, they alone make you want to return.

OMG WHEN I TELL YOU THIS CHEESECAKE WAS WONDERFUL!!! IM TALKING ABOUT HOMEMADE DELICIOUS!!!!! The food great as well. But if you are a homemade cheesecake lover like me, then this is the place. The first bite and you will know this isn’t a store bought cheesecake. Also try the shrimp pasta, fried shrimp and fish. The customer service was great!!

This is a small restaurant and quite plain on the inside. However, their food was absolutely delicious! We had shrimp, coleslaw, garlic potatoes, fries, and corn on the cob and everything was great! Prices were reasonable and the young lady who took our order and was the cashier was very polite and friendly. There's no fine China but who cares....the food was GREAT! We're just visiting town but will likely eat here again.

Riverside Seafood & Chicken has become one of my favorite local spots, and I've gone back multiple times because the food is consistently delicious and the staff always makes me feel welcome. One of my absolute favorites is their family-size coleslaw. At only $8, the portion is huge and could easily feed a family of eight. It's always fresh, crisp, and has just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. I also can't say enough good things about their fried Cajun shrimp. Every time I order it, the shrimp comes out perfectly cooked, golden brown, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. It's easily one of the best shrimp dishes I've had in the area. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the friendly customer service. I often stop by with my dog, Buster, and the staff is always kind enough to bring him a bowl of ice water. Those small acts of kindness make a big difference and show how much they care about their customers. If you're looking for great seafood, generous portions, fair prices, and genuinely friendly service, I highly recommend Riverside Seafood & Chicken. It's a place that has definitely earned my repeat business.

Absolutely delicious! They give generous portions and have wonderful seasoning! We had the crab legs, salmon platter, and hush puppies, all of which were excellent! They were also very accommodating with the son’s food allergies! Thank you for that! We will keep coming back!
